SunTran operates the public bus system in Tucson. They operate 40 fixed routes. You can either pay your fair by having a SunGO Card or pay with the Go Tucson app. If paying in cash, the farebox validates bills and coins. Website: www.suntran.com The Sun Link Tucson Streetcar links five major activity centers–the University of Arizona, Fourth Avenue, Main Gate Square, Downtown Tucson, and the Mercado District–in central Tucson. Cash is not accepted on the streetcar. You can buy a 1-Day SunGO ticket and once you have activated it, it is valid for 24 hours.
