All-Inclusive Deal: Book A Luxurious Stay in Cabo for $899

Omicron dampened the holiday mood at the end of the year and travel again seems unpredictable and stressful. But there’s something you can do to lift your spirits: dream of a vacation. It’s not too early to think about summer travels, and you might be able to hook in a good deal right now. Domestic and international airfares are cheap right now, and Travelzoo is offering legions of hotel discounts around the world

Our pick of the week: Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Villas in Mexico.

All through the pandemic, Mexico said, “Come on over!” by giving the world easy entry requirements. The country has a rich culture, beautiful locations, and luxurious hotels to tempt travelers, and there are so many incredible destinations to choose from. This time, the spotlight is on the wildly popular Los Cabos.

At the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos is home to all-inclusive resorts, gorgeous golf courses, pulsating nightlife, and white-sand beaches. Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Villas is an oceanfront hotel that’s designed to emulate a traditional Mexican village with its hacienda style. Located in the exclusive resort community of Cabo Del Sol, it’s a destination in itself with waterfront rooms, private balconies, outdoor pools, a spa, and a host of restaurants.

With the unbelievable Travelzoo deal, you can stay at this all-inclusive property for three nights in the Cabo Ocean Front Room for $899. Upgrade to the Baja Ocean Front Room ($995) or extend your stay for $299 per night. All drinks and meals are included, and Travelzoo members also get a daily $50 spa credit. You can book this deal now and travel through October 2022 (some dates may not be available). If you decide not to go, you will get a full refund!

The resort is spectacular, but you have to get out because there’s so much to explore in Los Cabos.

There are two sides to Los Cabos: art-loving San José del Cabo and party-central Cabo San Lucas. Check out the Gallery District in San José del Cabo; go sportfishing in Cabo San Lucas; party the night away in Downtown Cabo; and explore the 20-mile Tourist Corridor between the two towns with beachfront properties and championship courses. There are scores of water activities here such as cruising, snorkeling, whale-watching, boating, and swimming. A must-visit is the El Arco—a rock formation where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez.

NOTE: The CDC advises individuals to get vaccinated before traveling. In the wake of omicron, it also makes sense to get a booster shot. Before you book any travels, make sure to read the travel advisories carefully and assess the risks.
